A Public Interest Litigation petition has been filed against the AP Assembly Speaker, Kodela Sivaprasad Rao and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in AP High Court demanding criminal action against them for denying entry to YSRCP MLA Roja despite orders from High Court that cancelled the suspension of the MLA for one year.

The advocate, Gopalakrishna Kalanidhi who filed the PIL, questioned as to why Roja was barred from entering the Assembly and demanded action against both on criminal charges as they were liable to contempt of court for the act.
The hearing on the appeal is expected to be taken up on Tuesday.
