Principal secretary visits SPMVV

Tirupati: Sumitha Dawra, principal secretary, Andhra Pradesh State Higher Education (APSHE), on Sunday visited Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswva Vidyalayam here.

Sumitha held a meeting with the Deans and Directors of various wings of the women’s university in the Vice-Chancellor’s chambers on improving and strengthening the higher education. She urged the universities to take leap towards globalisation while at the same time keeping in mind the local aspects, needs and resources.

Principal secretary suggested to strengthen the existing courses before going in for new ones if they are really needed. SPMVV Vice-Chancellor V Durga Bhavani and others were present.
