Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths led by DSP Thota Prabhakar conducted raids on Stonehousepet sub-registrar Nanda Kishore’s house at Shanthinagar here on Saturday. The officials seized land documents, gold ornaments and other property worth Rs.2 crore, which are unaccounted for from his house. 

Nellore: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths led by DSP Thota Prabhakar conducted raids on Stonehousepet sub-registrar Nanda Kishore’s house at Shanthinagar here on Saturday. The officials seized land documents, gold ornaments and other property worth Rs.2 crore, which are unaccounted for from his house.

Officials similarly conducted raids on the houses of Nanda Kishore in Kavali, Tirupati, Hyderabad and Chittoor and seized a car and bank pass books. They also found two acres of land, two house sites and house worth Rs.50 lakh. Speaking to press persons, ACB DSP Prabhakar said Nanda kishore who started his career in 1985 as an attender in Registration department and presently working as sub-registrar had amassed huge illegal assets.

He also said that ACB had seized about Rs. 2 crore worth illegal assets including lands and gold ornaments. The DSP also appealed to the people who were suffered by Nanda Kishore to come forward to lodge complaints against sub-registrar. Prakasam ACB DSP Murthy, Nellore ACB Circle Inspector Siva Nageswar Rao and others participated in the raids.
