They staged protest against the ‘tyrannical’ rule of the NDA government by forming human chain along with the Congress activists at Kotipalli bus stand in Rajamahendravaram on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, Raghuveera Reddy expressed anguish over the Central government’s attitude towards Arunachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand governments.

Faulting the Centre for its dictatorial approach towards the Congress-ruled States, he warned Modi of dire consequences if he did not mend his ways. He also found fault with the TDP government in the State for its unilateral approach. He criticised Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for protecting only the interests of his party workers.

He flayed Naidu for not keeping his promise of providing employment to the youth. He also alleged that the Chief Minister was wooing opposition MLAs through unethical means. Though both the Centre and State were organising the 125th birth anniversary celebrations of Dr B R Ambedkar, they were not respecting the Constitution written by him, Raghuveera Reddy said. DCC president Kandula Durgesh, former MLC Gidugu Rudra Raju and others were present.
