Chief Minister Naidu’s chopper would land Nimmalagudem in Chinturu mandal and will proceed to Yerrampeta village where he will lay foundation to Sub-Treasury office around 11.10 am and also GCC fuel distribution center, LPG godown. Around 11.45 am, the Chief Minister will inaugurate new ITDA building in Chinturu and lay foundation for staff quarters of ITDA. 

Rajamahendravaram: Bundles of problems await the Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, who is going to visit newly-formed Yetapaka Revenue Division after bifurcation of state and merging of 7 mandals into Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday. Four mandals in Yetapaka-- Nellipaka, Kunavaram, Chintur and Vararamachandrapuram along with three others, namely Burgumpahad, Kukkunoor and Velierpad adjacent to the Jangareddygudem Revenue Division in West Godavari district have been merged during bifurcation and many of the villages are going to submerge under Polavaram Major Irrigation Project. Chief Minister Naidu’s chopper would land Nimmalagudem in Chinturu mandal and will proceed to Yerrampeta village where he will lay foundation to Sub-Treasury office around 11.10 am and also GCC fuel distribution center, LPG godown. Around 11.45 am, the Chief Minister will inaugurate new ITDA building in Chinturu and lay foundation for staff quarters of ITDA.
He will proceed to Koonavaram where he will lay foundation to Primary Health Centre additional block and also staff quarters. He will also participate in laying foundations and inaugurations of major roads that are going to be taken up by Road and Buildings, Rural Water Supply, Panchayat Raj departments with Rs 20 crore.
In four mandals of Chinturu ITDA, there are 63 village panchayats and 304 villages where 1.35 lakh people are living. Only two sects of tribals, Koya and Kondareddy, are living in these four mandals and six thousand Adivasis have been added newly from Chhattisgarh after Maoists and police started trying to get upper hand over each other.
The police are making heavy arrangements for CM tour and cordoning off the area as the Chinturu and Yetapaka areas are once dominated by Maoists. They are closing vehicular traffic, both sides from Bhadrachalam and Rajamahendravaram for two to three hours during the CM’s landing and take-off at Chinturu.
