Gynaecology block opening on April 18

Kurnool: Minister for Health and Medical Education Kamineni Srinivas will inaugurate a new gynaecology block and a modular operation theatre of cardiothoracic wing at the Government General Hospital (GGH) in the city on April 18.

GGH Superintendent J Veeraswamy told newsmen here on Monday that the new gynaecology block was constructed at a cost of Rs 15 crore. The Health Minister would also lay the foundation stone for PG hostel buildings. Principal Secretary of Health, Medical and Family Welfare Poonam Malakondaiah would also take part in the programme, he said.
