Seminar on renewable invest on April 21
The AP Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation (APCCIF), in association with New and Renewable Energy Department of Andhra Pradesh, will host a one-day seminar on ‘Renewable Invest Andhra Pradesh 2016’ at Hotel Fortune Murali Park here on April 21.
Vijayawada: The AP Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation (APCCIF), in association with New and Renewable Energy Department of Andhra Pradesh, will host a one-day seminar on ‘Renewable Invest Andhra Pradesh 2016’ at Hotel Fortune Murali Park here on April 21.
In a press release here on Tuesday, APCCIF executive director P Bhaskara Rao said that AP was one of the leading states in renewable energy sector with installed capacity of 1396.77 MW till last fiscal. The State Government was keen to tap the potential to meet the growing demand for power in an environmentally sustainable manner.
In this regard, recently government had announced the target of installing 5,000 MW of solar power and 4,000 MW of wind energy units, he said. Senior officials like Ajay Jain, Principal Secretary, Government of AP, G Adiseshu, Managing Director, AP Solar Power Corporation Limited, NREDCAP Managing Director and Vice-Chairman M Kamalakar Babu and APSPDCL Chairman R Mutayala Raju will participate in the seminar. Interested delegates should pay a fee of Rs 12,000 plus service tax to participate in the seminar.
