Cabinet slot for Lokesh after summer?
It is now almost official that son of AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would be inducted into the state cabinet sometime around June when Naidu would go in for reshuffle of the state cabinet.

AP CM Naidu hints at cabinet expansion after June
Replying to a question at the briefing on the cabinet meeting, Naidu said that the government had given top priority to meet the summer challenge and drinking water shortage. The issue of cabinet expansion would be taken up after summer.
“I will discuss about it and politics at that time,” he said. When asked about inducting Lokesh, he said with a smile, “Let’s discuss about it in June.”
However, a few ministers said that it was a foregone conclusion that Nara Lokesh would be inducted into the cabinet. One minister said that the Chief Minister had taken up ranking of ministers based on the reports of their performance and that was an indicator of those who might be dropped.
With the government going to complete two years in office by June 8, Naidu proposes to obtain feedback from electors on its rule in order to take course-correction measures. It also wants to go in for civic polls by August.
Sources said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu asked the authorities concerned to clear all hurdles for the conduct of elections to the municipal bodies, where polls are due, across the State.
The government is learnt to have asked the State election authorities to get ready for the conduct of elections to Visakhapatnam, Kurnool, Ongole, Guntur, Srikakulam, Kakinada, Vizianagaram and Tirupati corporations.
