Narsapuram: The State government is committed to construct permanent houses for every poor family in the State, Narsapuram MLA Bandaru Madhava Naidu has said.
He laid foundation stone for 28 new houses which will come up under the NTR Housing Scheme at Leprosy Colony in Rustumbada village under Narsapuram mandal on Monday.
Speaking at a public meeting organised on the occasion, he said several developmental works were taken up in the constituency in the last 22 months and promised more such activities in the future. Besides the funds from the government, he said the New Life Ministries organisation of Australia was also extending financial assistance to construct houses in the Leprosy Colony.
