Woman killed in accident

A 56-year-old woman was killed and her husband was injured in a road accident at Dommeru village on the National Highway in Kovvuru mandal in West Godavari on Wednesday. According to police, a couple Adinarayana and Bapanamma (56) were on their way to a marriage at Rajahmundry on a two-wheeler when a speeding lorry hit their bike after they reached Dommeru village.

According to police, a couple Adinarayana and Bapanamma (56) were on their way to a marriage at Rajahmundry on a two-wheeler when a speeding lorry hit their bike after they reached Dommeru village.
Bapanamma died on the spot while her husband Adinarayana was injured and admitted to the Government Hospital in Kovvuru. The couple hailed from Unguturu in West Godavari district, police added. The Kovvuru rural police registered a case.
