250 crore registration revenue target for Kurnool

The Registration and Stamps department has set a revenue target of Rs 250 crore for the district for the current financial year. There are 24 sub-registrar offices in the district. Out of the total, 14 offices are located in Kurnool and 10 in Nandyal divisions. As part of the division-wise target, the 14 offices in Kurnool should earn total revenue of Rs 185 crore this fiscal.

A revenue target of Rs 65 crore has been set for the 10 offices in Nandyal division. Kurnool stood first in the State last fiscal (2015-16) by earning a total revenue of Rs 180.73 crore (115.89 per cent) against the target of Rs 155 crore.
