Gora Science Centre to hold workshop on magic science

Gora Science Center will organise a two-day free magic science workshop at Atheist Center in Benz Circle here on May 7 and 8. In a press release here on Thursday, G Niyanth, Director,Gora Science Center, said that the aim of this magic camp is to dispel superstition and blind beliefs and inculcate science and scientific outlook. Developing rational thinking among the younger generation is yet another focus area.

Former national president of the Indian Medical Association G Samaram will inaugurate the magic-science workshop at 8.30 am on May 7. Well known magician Gautham will conduct the classes. Educationalist P Bhimanna and others will share the secret magic tricks with the participants and explain to them the scientific principle behind the ‘magic’. The two-day camp will take place from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, he said.
