“Naidu had in fact begun his anti-democratic activity by offering cash for vote in the MLC elections in Telangana and after getting caught on tape there, shifted his attention to the State. So far 13 MLAs from my party had been won over with offers of Rs 20 crore - Rs 30 crore and efforts were on to woo others too. At least 20 more MLAs were being contacted,” Jagan said and urged the CEC to check the game and save democracy.
Later, he met the Union Minister for Petroleum, Dharmendra Pradhan, and presented him with a copy of the book bought out by his party titled 'Chandrababu, Emperor of Corruption’, listing out his alleged scams.
