Vijayawada: A delegation of Maharashtra government met the CRDA officials here on Wednesday and inquired about the land pooling
process being implemented by AP Government to acquire the land for construction of the new capital in Guntur district.

The Maharashtra government had deputed the eight-member top officials’ delegation to visit the CRDA region in Guntur district as well as
to meet the top officials of CRDA. Delegation members Radhey Syam, Moparwar, Kiran Karundkar, M Kalyankar, Nidhi Pandey and others
met the CRDA Commissioner, N Srikanth, in Vijayawada.

The Commissioner explained the land pooling activity through the PowerPoint presentation. The visiting officials told the CRDA
Commissioner that they were impressed with the land pooling system implemented by AP Government. They said the Maharashtra
government is implementing land acquisition for projects and the Government sent them to study the land pooling system in AP. Later,
the delegation visited some villages under the Tullur mandal and interacted with the farmers and local people.
