He said, “The 38 backlog posts that were pending for two years should be filled in within 30 days by the authorities. I ask them to take stringent action on the candidates if they are found applying for the jobs with fake certificates. The funds being used for facilities like roads, electricity, water supply lines being provided to the SC/ST colonies should be audited and see the facilities reach the real beneficiaries. There are incidents of counter cases by the persons who are facing atrocities cases. The police authorities should be more cautious in registering them and take action on persons resorting to atrocities on SCs and STs. The district authorities should convene a meeting with the private and corporate school managements and see that they offer free education to the SC ST students, as per the government orders.”

The District Collector and Superintendent of Police assured the Commission Chairman that the authorities were concerned about the welfare of the SC/STs in the district and they will take immediate action on people resorting to atrocities on the scheduled castes and tribes in the district.
