After a summer gap of nearly two months, the campuses of Under Graduate Colleges are seen abuzz with activity. Parents and students are in bee lines to acquire admissions into respective institutions that offer bachelors of Science (B.Sc) and bachelors in Arts (B.A) under various disciplines.

As the soaring mercury subsided for a while, college administrations have opened up admissions for the upcoming academic year. Heat waves and scorching sun have played spoilsport in the admissions and enrollment procedure of the under graduate colleges until the first week of May. Luckily, for the aspirants, seats in the very famous institutions are available in ample.

Principal of the SDM Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala, T Vijaya Lakshmi said, “The admissions are very less and at a low until the end of April. The first two weeks of admission programme was rather dull. But, we are busy right now with many applications being filed for courses offered by the college under affiliation of Krishna University. The rush might continue till first week of June when the classes commence.”

Fr GAP Kishore, principal of Andhra Loyola College said, “We had many enquiries about admission schedule for upcoming academic year. The admissions are going on at a very fast pace.”
