Annavaram Kalyanotsavam concludes on a grand note

​Annavaram: Pushpayagam amidst the chanting of Vedas marked the conclusion of the week-long Kalyanotsavam of the deities here on Sunday. As part of the Pushpayagam, the deities were decorated with various kinds of flowers and made to sit on a jhoola. Special pujas were performed on the occasion.

Women devotees, who took part in the event, were given a blouse piece. Meanwhile, several theatre artists found fault with the temple administration for doing away with the mythological plays as part of the week-long event.
