Bay Marathon website launched
Bay Marathon website launched
Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu here on Wednesday launched the website of the ‘Bay Marathon’ proposed to be held in Visakhapatnam on July 2.
Visakhapatnam-based social organisation, Disease Eradication through Education and Prevention (DEEP), is organising the marathon to promote health activities and create health awareness among people. The organisation would conduct 5k and 2k runs along the beach in Visakhapatnam on the day.
The run would be organised in the evening for the first time in the country. Chandrababu Naidu welcomed the initiative of DEEP to create awareness among people on health related activities.
Ministers K Atchannaidu, Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Ch Ayyanna Pathrudu, Youth Services Principal Secretary L V Subrahmanyam, IAS officer Rekha Rani and others were present.
