Eluru: Women and Child Welfare Minister Peethala Sujatha appealed to all sections of people to cooperate with the government for the overall development of State.
She participated in Nava Nirmana Deeksha at Fire Station Centre here on Thursday and administered a pledge to the officials and the public.
Addressing the gathering, she said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is leading the State on the path of development and exuded confidence that the State will emerge numero uno in the country by 2020. She said that the bureaucrats were asked to work hand in hand with the people.
Chief Whip and Dendululru MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar said the Chief Minister took on the mantle of building world-class capital.
ZP Chairman Mullapudi Bapiraju, MLA Badeti Kota Ramarao, MLC Ramu Suryarao, DIG Ramakrishna, District Collector K Bhaskar, SP Bhaskar Bhushan, Joint Collector P Koteswara Rao, Mayor Sheikh Noorjahan, former MLA Ambica Krishna and others spoke on the occasion.
Earlier, Eluru Range DIG Ramakrishna flagged off a rally organised by the government employees at Police Parade Grounds here. At Tadepalligudem Bridge Centre, Endowments Minister Pydikondala Manikyala Rao administered a pledge to the officials and the public on the occasion of Nava Nirmana Deeksha.
The Minister called upon the people to contribute their mite for the development of the State.
Earlier, a rally was taken out from Taluk Office to Pedda Vantena Centre.
Endowments Minister Pydikondala Manikyala Rao, ZP chairman Mullapudi Bapiraju, municipal commissioner P Niranjan Reddy, BJP municipal floor leader Yeggina Nagababu, BJP Tadepalligudem committee president Karri Prabhakara Balaji and others participated in the rally.
In Narsapur, MLA Bandaru Madhava Naidu participated in Nava Nirmana Deeksha. A rally was taken out marking the occasion, which witnessed the participation of the MLA, Sub-Collector A S Dinesh Kumar and others.
