Hyderabad: The Special Court for Central Bureau of Investigation on Friday issued a non-bailable warrant against YSRCP member Vijaya Sai Reddy for not attending court trials in the case of possessing disproportionate assets.
Vijaya Sai Reddy was recently nominated to the Rajya Sabha by YSRCP. Receiving information about the non-bailable warrant, he attended the court and filed a petition denoting health issues and pleaded the court to revoke the warrant.
But the court rejected his appeal. Stating that Reddy intentionally evaded the trials which consequently delayed the proceedings, the court slashed the petitions and adjourned the next hearing to June 10.
