AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday supervised the construction works on temporary Secretariat in Velagapudi where he reiterated that government employees should shift to new capital city Amaravati.

Questioning on what more facilities the employees need when the state government is committed to provide every facility, Chandrababu called for cooperation from employees for ensuring smooth functioning of government. The Chief Minister stated that he using a bus for travelling and even sleeping in it remarking at the employees who are refusing to leave Hyderabad.

Speaking to the media, Chandrababu said that the temporary secretariat would begin functioning as early as possible wih most of the works to be wrapped up by June 27.

Meanwhile, President of the Secretariat Employees' Union, Muralikrishna said that the government is not providing any clarity over key issues that in turn is causing concerns among the employees. Stating that they don't have any issue with shifting to Amaravati, Muralikrishna said that the government needs to resolve their problems following which they would shift to the Capital City.
