​Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said to have expressed ire over Secretariat employees for meeting former Union Minister and BJP leader Daggubati Purandeswari seeking postponement of shifting to new capital.

It is said that when the members of AP Secretariat Gazette Employees Forum led by their representative Gopalakrishna met the Chief Minister at his camp office here on Friday, he was said to have repriminded the employees and asked them not to make the shifting of employees, a political issue.

Naidu reportedly told the representatives of the employees that they should have met him directly to resolve any issue.More than 30 employees reached the CM camp office and five members met the Chief Minister at his chambers and submitted a memorandum seeking time for women employees to shift to new capital.

Later, speaking to mediapersons, the representatives said that the Chief Minister responded positively on the issues relating to women employees.

The employees said that they sought six months time for shifting to new capital, for which the CM responded positively. Secretariat Gazette Employees Forum representatives Gopalakrishna, Patel, GS Rao, Padmavati and others were present.
