10 BITIT students get placements

 In all, 10 students of BIT Institute of Technology and other engineering colleges were selected as software trainees at the campus placement selections held at BIT Institute of Technology here on Sunday. 

Hindupur: In all, 10 students of BIT Institute of Technology and other engineering colleges were selected as software trainees at the campus placement selections held at BIT Institute of Technology here on Sunday.

The Kony India Private Limited, a software firm, conducted the placement drive. The selected will draw an annual CTC of Rs 3,00,000 during the one-year training period. Later, they would draw Rs 7,00,000 per annum. College chairman Dr Chandramohan advised the students to improve their personality and creativity to get good placements.

In all, 200 students from various engineering colleges turned up for the selections. The students were tested for their aptitude, C-programme and Java knowledge skills. In the second round, their coding skills were put to test.

The last round constituted the personality test. BIT Institute of Technology teaching and administrative staff and others participated.
