Be punctual or face action Mayor warns employees
The Mayor said, \"Habitual late attendance is viewed as conduct unbecoming of an employee and disciplinary action may be taken against such individuals.” She said that this was not the first time employees had been told to respect timings.
Rajamahendravaram: Mayor Pantam Rajani Sesha Sai, who visited 10 MLD water plant here on Friday warned the employees that truancy would be punished.
The Mayor said, "Habitual late attendance is viewed as conduct unbecoming of an employee and disciplinary action may be taken against such individuals.” She said that this was not the first time employees had been told to respect timings.
The Mayor said that there are two 100 HP motors, two 60 HP motors and three 40 HP motors in the plant and vented ire at the staff for not maintaining the register properly.
She also expressed anger at the officials for not maintaining cleanliness on the premises of the plant and for not changing name boards as Rajamahendravaram.
The Mayor came down heavily on the officials for not taking up repair works in the plant as suggested in her last visit to the water plant. She directed the officials to keep sufficient stock of chlorine for the ensuing rainy season.
