Provide exact information agriculture officials told
He held a village wise meeting under Kurnool division here at Sunaina Auditorium on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, the Collector directed agriculture officers to provide the exact information about the main crops, number of farmers involved in farm sector, number of soil tests conducted and the crops planned this year.
Kurnool: District Collector Ch Vijay Mohan warned the agriculture officers besides MCOs not to provide fake information about the crops planted in the villages.
He held a village wise meeting under Kurnool division here at Sunaina Auditorium on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, the Collector directed agriculture officers to provide the exact information about the main crops, number of farmers involved in farm sector, number of soil tests conducted and the crops planned this year.
He asked officials to prepare a report about the actual extent of agriculture land, number of farm ponds dug and bore recharge structures were sanctioned.
Vijay Mohan instructed officials to provide details of the last year’s kharif crop productivity and plans to improve crop production this year.
He expressed displeasure over the inappropriate information given by the officials and directed them to provide complete information at Saturday’s meeting. He ordered the project officers and MCOs of Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) to come with complete information.
