Slow pace of Suryaraopet Beach works irks Collector

Kakinada: District Collector H Arun Kumar on Friday expressed strong resentment over the slow pace of works of Suryaraopet beach works in Kakinada Rural.

The Collector stated that the beach works were taken up at a cost of Rs 28 crore. He said the guidelines were not being implemented properly in some areas and pulled up the officials concerned. The Collector advised them to spend the funds wisely.
The Collector reacted strongly while inspecting roads, by stating that the National Highway works should be of improved quality. He wanted officials to spend less on roads and incur more expenditure on other works.
