Eluru: West Godavari District Collector Katamneni Bhaskar pulled up officials over delay in calling for tenders for various sanctioned works. He conducted a review meeting with the officials of various departments on the progress of works undertaken under the MPLADS at the Collectorate here on Friday.

Addressing the officials, the Collector questioned executive engineer Srinivas on why the tenders were not called for agriculture canal works at Perupalem (south) village in Mogalturu mandal under the MPLADS sanctioned by Rajya Sabha member K Chiranjeevi even though orders were sanctioned on September 3, 2015 and expressed anger over officials for not responding even though he had recommended for action four times.
