Follow road safety norms drivers told

Kurnool: The Superintendent of Police Ake Ravi Krishna said every driver should follow the road safety norms. He exhorted to drivers not to drive vehicles in an inebriated condition as there will be every possibility for accidents. The SP conducted a free eye testing camp to drivers, who are driving schools and college buses, at Devi Function Hall here on
Saturday.

Ravi Krishna said around 20,000 families are dependent on auto driving for livelihood. He asked drivers to cooperate with the police by passing on information about anti-social elements.

Drivers should not drive vehicles after consuming alcohol, if any, unexpected happens, then family would be affected,” SP said. Ravi Krishna instructed drivers to wear uniform while driving, not to drive vehicles recklessly and avoid speaking on mobile while driving.

The SP said drivers can get their eyes tested at free of cost at Modern Eye Hospital. Later, he inaugurated the flexis bearing the slogans of road safety norms. Modern Eye Hospital representatives Dr Rajasekhar, Anil Kumar and Srinivas Reddy, Montessori Schools President Rajasekhar, DSP DV Ramana Murthy, Traffic DSP A Ramachandra, MVI Chandrababu, CI G Madhusudhan Rao, RSIs Srinivas Goud, Radhakrishna Murthy and Naresh were present.
