Collector orders for utmost care for security at pushkar ghats.

Vijayawada: District Collector Babu A ordered the concerned authorities to look into arranging the crest gates at Prakasam Barrage with utmost care for safety. He set out for an inspection to the Krishna Pushkar ghat works at Prakasam Barrage, Krishnaveni ghat and model guest house, here on Wednesday.

During his visit, Collector said that workers might work under drizzle wearing raincoats since the deadlines are approaching. He ordered for accuracy in finishing the renovation works of model guest house and kick start the concrete works.

He asked the engineer present at the location to start sheet piling works at the earliest and directed to use granite slabs for steps of the krishnaveni ghat. He suggested that works are taken out in a comprehensive manner to satisfy Chief Minister, who would come for an inspection by July 2nd.
