Eyes of 8-yr-old brain dead donated

According to founder of the Eye Foundation Dr Badam Balakrishna, Gujjari Madan Mohan, father of Gujjari Keetan, came forward to donate eyes of his late son at the instance of their family doctor Ch Kiran Kumar who advocated for the same.
Kakinada: Eyes (cornea) of an 8-year-old boy who died due to illness were donated by his parents to the Badam Balakrishna Eye Bank, under Kakinada Eye Foundation, on Thursday.
According to founder of the Eye Foundation Dr Badam Balakrishna, Gujjari Madan Mohan, father of Gujjari Keetan, came forward to donate eyes of his late son at the instance of their family doctor Ch Kiran Kumar who advocated for the same.
Dr Balakrisjhna thanked the donors for the good gesture in donating the eyes after his son’s demise due to illness . This gesture will provide eye site to two visually challenged persons, Dr Balakrishna said.
