Disbursement of Ramzan Tohfa kits
Speaking on the occasion, Sunitha stated that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu so desired that every Muslim family should celebrate Ramzan joyfully and benefit from Ramzan Tohfa kits being distributed to them.
Anantapur: Civil Supplies Minister Paritala Sunitha has participated in the distribution of Ramzan Tohfa at Ashok Nagar and other areas in the city along with MLA Prabhakar Chowdary and Mayor Swaroopa here on
Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Sunitha stated that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu so desired that every Muslim family should celebrate Ramzan joyfully and benefit from Ramzan Tohfa kits being distributed to them.
For the benefit of those who are out of station the date for disbursement of kits have been extended up to July 15th. Every family having white ration card is entitled to receive 5 kgs of wheat, 2 kgs of sugar, 1 kg of semya and 100 grams of ghee.
Sunitha asked officials and ration card dealers to ensure hassle-free distribution with no scope for irregularities, otherwise stern action would be initiated against the erring, she warned.
MLA Prabhakar Chowdary said that the Chief Minister believed in equal treatment of all religions and that the Ramzan goodies were part of his love for all religions. Mayor Swaroopa, Joint Collector B Lakshmikantham and other officials were present.
