Addressing a press conference here, Superintendent of Police (SP) Ake Ravi Krishna said that fourth town Circle Inspector GV Nagaraja Rao and his team conducted searches at Bellary cross roads on the directions of Kurnool DSP DV Ramana Murthy. During search operation, police took three persons into custody as their behaviour found to be suspicious.
Kurnool: The fourth town police seized gold and silver ornaments here on Wednesday while they were being transported without waybills.

On quizzing, M S Naresh, R Chandra Sekhar and N Murugesan revealed that they belong to Chennai and have been purchasing the raw gold and silver from Kurnool and in turn sell them by making into ornaments at Coimbatore.
