Hyderabad: Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in East and West Godavari, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Krishna and Guntur districts on July 23 and 24, the Met department bulletin warned on Friday, even as the trough from Odisha to south Tamil Nadu across coastal Andhra Pradesh is persisting.

The bulletin said the upper air cyclonic circulation lies over north-coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining south Odisha and west-central Bay of Bengal is also persisting. It now extends tilting southwards with height.

The forecast said light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in the coastal districts and a few places in Rayalaseema from July 23 to 26. No major change in weather conditions in the next three days.
