Kurnool: Special Officer for Krishna Pushkaralu Ananta Ram and District Collector Challa Vijay Mohan jointly inspected the ongoing Pushkaralu works at Sangameswaram on Friday.

The duo first inspected the parking lot and drinking water facilities. Speaking on the occasion, Ram said the officers should take all precautionary measures and ensure that no devotee faced any problem. He instructed the Irrigation department Superintending Engineer (SE) to complete the construction of bathing ghats within five days.

The SE assured the Special Officer and the Collector that all the works would be completed by the end of the month. He also ordered Roads and Buildings, Panchayat Raj and Rural Water Supply (RWS) officials to complete the works assigned to them at the earliest.

Irrigation SE informed the Collector that the devotees can have a holy dip when the water level attains 835 feet at three ghats. Later, the temple priests welcomed the Special Officer and the Collector through Purna Kumbam.

Ram offered prayers at the Sangameswara temple. Prior to visiting Sangameswaram, Ram held a meeting with officers of various departments at Collector’s Conference Hall, and advised them to complete all the works within July 31. ASP T Chandra Sekhar Reddy, DPO Anand Naik, RDO L Raghu Babu were also present on the occasion.
