Water released for Pushkaralu: Minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao
The officials explained progress of works and were instructed to complete the pending works. Speaking on this occasion, Devineni said that they have released water into the River Krishna from Pulichintala Project reservoir for Krishna Pushkaralu.
Amaravati: Minister for Irrigation Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao, Minister for Agriculture Prathipati Pulla Rao, Minister for Civil Supplies Paritala Sunitha and Minister for Municipal Administration P Narayana inspected Krishna Pushkaralu works at Amaravati ghat on Wednesday.
The officials explained progress of works and were instructed to complete the pending works. Speaking on this occasion, Devineni said that they have released water into the River Krishna from Pulichintala Project reservoir for Krishna Pushkaralu.
He said that Amaravati, Tallayyapalem, Vaikuntapuram,Penumuudi and works at other ghats are almost complete and assured that the river festival will be conducted in a big way.
Later, Minister for Municipal Administration P Narayana said that the government will clean the water every hour and said that the municipal administration department cleaned up water during Godavari Pushkaralu too.
