Atmakur (Kurnool): Sangameswaram, the confluence of seven rivers, is attracting Pushkar pilgrims in droves. As many as 1.32 lakh pilgrims have taken a holy dip in the Krishna river at Sangameswaram so far. The pilgrims are preferring to visit Sangameswaram to enjoy its serene and scenic surroundings. About 20,000 pilgrims took a holy dip at Srilalitha and Sangameswara ghats on Wednesday, the sixth day of Krishna Pushkaralu.

The AP Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) deployed speed boats at Sangameswaram to enable pilgrims to enjoy a ride on the river. Joint Collector Ch Hari Kiran is making timely arrangements to ensure that pilgrims visiting Sangameswaram do not face any inconvenience.
