Ch Narasinga Rao called upon the working class to participate in September 2 strike in large numbers and make it a grand success. He said that though nearly two lakh workers had participated in the last year’s industrial strike in Vizag alone, there was no change in the mindset of BJP and TDP governments.

He condemned the repeated statements of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu that there will be no talks with those participating in strikes as strikes would affect the investments in the State sending a wrong signal of industrial unrest.

As a part of it, the officials are not giving permission to trade unions for taking out rallies and stagign protests which was nothing but dictatorial attitude of the government, he alleged.
