Kurnool: Vigilance Awareness Week celebrations at Andhra Pradesh Grameena Bank (APGB) concluded on Saturday. Regional Manager G Shiva Shankar Reddy appreciated the efforts of various branch heads and their staff for the good work done in popularising Vigilance Awareness Week theme “public participation and promoting integrity and eradicating of corruption”.

He suggested the staff to take into account the young generation and motivate them to work for a corruption-free society thereby making them a part and parcel of the nation’s development. He gave a call to bank staff to strive with social conscious for making a better society by enlightening public and customers.

Dasthagiri Reddy, Director of Guru Raghavendra Banking Coaching Centre, who participated as a chief guest lauded the APGB staff for the excellent services rendered and their social conscious which is driving them to play a vital role in rural development. He appreciated the bank staff for conducting essay writing, elocution, drawing competitions in schools and colleges on the occasion of Vigilance Awareness Week.

Later, the Regional Manager accompanied with the chief guest distributed prizes to the winners who took part in various competitions.
