Kakinada: A 30 member joint action committee (JAC) was constituted to monitor Mudragada Padmanabham’s five-day pada yatra.
At a meeting organised at Kapu Kalyana Mandapam, here on Monday, Thota Srinivasa Rao was appointed as convener for the committee, which would make arrangements and monitor the yatra East Godavari Kapu Sadbhavana Sangam president and member of Kapu Reservation Porata Samiti Vasireddy Yesu Dasu said that the five-day pada yatra would commence at 9 am on November 16 at Ravulapalem and reach Antarvedi in five days. “If there are interruptions in between by local Kapu population the Yatra will be extended by a day,” he added.
