Seminar held on career guidance

Students of Class X participated in the seminar. The specific objectives of the seminar were to equip students with functional knowledge, values and attitudes, desirable habits and skills needed by them to cope with the changes in their environment and to enlighten students on various career opportunities and assist them in discovering their strengths.
Rajamahendravaram: With an objective to provide students with the much needed guidance and direction to choose a right career after completing their schooling, an insightful seminar ‘Inspire’, on career guidance was held on Thursday at Sri Shirdi Sai Vidya Niketan.
Students of Class X participated in the seminar. The specific objectives of the seminar were to equip students with functional knowledge, values and attitudes, desirable habits and skills needed by them to cope with the changes in their environment and to enlighten students on various career opportunities and assist them in discovering their strengths.
International trainer Ajit Kumar Chalote spoke on the importance of career planning and provided an insight into all the career options that existed. Speaking on the occasion, Chairman of the school T Sridhar said that every student is born with different abilities and interest.
He said that if one chooses a career in conformity with one’s abilities and interests, success would come quickly and the hard work put in would also be cherished.
Director of the school Srividya enunciated that such seminars were the need of the hour because lack of proper career guidance could lead to confusion.
