‘Govt striving for poor uplift’

Vizianagaram: The 68th Republic Day celebrations were held at the Parade Ground on a grand manner here on Thursday. District Collector Vivek Yadav received the guard of honour from the Armed Police and explained how the government is striving for the uplift of the poor.

Dwarapudi village, which was adopted by Union Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju, has become an ideal village in the State. “We will complete Thotapalli project soon and provide water to 58,000 acres. Joint Collector Srikesh Balaji, Superintendent of Police K Ranga Rao and others were present.
