TDP senior leader and Rajahmundry MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary has offered his resignation from the TDP General Secretary post on Tuesday.
He castigated the TDP high command for allotting Ministerial berth to YSR Congress MLAs over the committed party leaders.
The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet expansion which was held on Sunday disappointed many other leaders including Ramachandrapuram MLA Thota Trimurthulu, Jaggampeta MLA Jyothula Nehru and MLA Gollapalli Surya Rao for not being allotted Cabinet berths.
Jyothula Nehru is likely to take a decision on his resignation after holding talks with his followers.
