Amaravati: Medha Towers, strategically positioned near Gannavaram airport on the other side of the Kolkata National Highway, is poised to turn in to an IT hub. IT Minister N Lokesh will launch the operations of seven overseas IT companies in the premises of Medha Towers on Wednesday.
The high-end companies which will commence their operations in the towers include Groupto Antolin, IES (Spanish & German companies), Rotomaker, Chandu Soft, Melsova, EP SOFT and Yamyah IT Solutions (United States-based companies) will create about 1,500 jobs, said Dr Ravi Vemuru, CEO, Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society, in a media release.
These companies dealing in high-end automotive interiors designing, IT consultancy, digital educational services, IT/ITES services, projects and products among other things will be a big boost to the area, he hoped. “Creating an ideal IT ecosystem requires an available pool of talented resources and companies.
We have been actively working in facilitating and coordinating students, training institutes and IT companies to build that strong ecosystem. Andhra Pradesh is very fortunate to have all these ingredients and a visionary Chief Minister with a proven track record, he said.
“The young and dynamic IT minister, with his undaunted determination to see the state grow, has infused renewed energy into this drive. We are seeing the immediate results of this energy in Amaravati and Visakhapatnam with the influx of several IT companies,” Vemuru said.
APNRT has also launched a unique one of a kind integrating web-based networking portal -- www.itcentral.in an ecosystem to service and connect all incoming companies, training institutes and students seeking jobs, matching the right people to the right jobs or skill training.
