Encourage tennis players
Minister for Civil Aviation P Ashok Gajapathi Raju advised the District Sports Authority to encourage tennis players. He paid a visit to Sir Vizzy Stadium and interacted with the players who are undergoing training here as a part of summer sports camp.

Later, he reminded that earlier Vizianagaram had great players and they brought laurels to the district. But gradually the glory was faded and again they have to revive the lost glory, he pointed out. Later he advised the students to avail the amenities provided here to nurture their skills. “Sports definitely help the youth to become physically and mentally strong. Hence, they should not waste their time by watching TV and on computers, but allot time for playing,” he said.
