Releasing a wall poster to mark the International Children’s Day organised by the Bala Vikas Foundation at the Government Observation Home for Girls here on Thursday, the DEO called upon the parents to admit their wards in the nearest government schools.
She said that even small lessons they learnt in childhood would be more beneficial for them. The DEO called upon the teaching community to inculcate good conduct with discipline among kids and assured of granting a primary school for the benefit of home inmates.
Presiding over the function, Bala Vikas Foundation (BVF) founder secretary Narava Prakasa Rao said the World Women Convention held in 1948 had decided to organise the International Children’s Day on June 1 in which all countries would discuss about the steps to be taken for the good future of children. He informed that Bala Vikas Foundation had been conducting the International Children’s Day for the past 15 years.
