AP stops power supply to Telangana over pending bills

Owing to the pending bills, the Andhra Pradesh government has stopped the power supply to Telangana. Reports suggest that Telangana has nearly Rs. 4,449 crores worth of power bills pending to AP Genco.
Owing to the pending bills, the Andhra Pradesh government has stopped the power supply to Telangana. Reports suggest that Telangana government has nearly Rs. 4,449 crores worth of power bills pending to AP Genco.
Keeping this in view, the AP Government has stopped the power supply and has stated that the the supply will not be restored to Telangana untill the bills are cleared.
Countering to this, the Telangana government said that the AP Govt is linking power supply to distribution of assets between both the states and also alleged that they are showing increased amounts as dues.
