Kakinada: AP chief minister Chandrababu Naidu announced several sops at Mahasankalpam on the concluding day of Nava Nirmana Deeksha for both the state and to East Godavari district.At the programme organised at Ananda Bharati grounds here on Thursday, the CM solemnised the Mahasankalpam pledge with public , officials and peoples representatives, seeking their active support and participation.

Another pledge was solemnised for the district separately by deputy chairman AP Legislative Council Reddy Subrahmanyam.
Later addressing the gathering the CM announced assistance to unemployed youth and said that the modalities will be announced soon.

The CM said that every effort is being made to develop the state in all fronts despite several setbacks including financial aspect. He announced that six lakh jobs would be provided to youth in the next three years. He also announced Rs 30,000 to the dead under Maha Prastanam for last rites and Talli Deevena for school children at schools to respect their mothers.

Turing his attention towards irrigation schemes he said that Polavaram project stands as pride of AP and assured to complete all irrigation projects in the state on or before 2019.Introducing the 14 children from various welfare hostels for their great achievement of claiming Mount Everest, he said that achievements of this kind was possible only with strong will and dedication.

For East Godavari, the CM announced forest academy at Rajamahendravaram with Rs 56 crore and third bridge on salt creek in Kakinada city with Rs 146 crore. He also announced construction of stadium at the venue of the public meet Ananda Bharati grounds with Rs 10 crore outlay, besides the dialysis centre at Tuni in East Godavari.

He also promised to convert the Kakinada town railway station as smart railway station as desired by Kakinada MP Thota Narasimham.Kakinada City MLA, V. Venkateswara Rao presided over the meet. Earlier the CM went round various stalls in the exhibition and distributed assistance to beneficiaries.On his arrival from Polavaram the CM was received by people’s representatives and officials.
