Amaravati: The civil engineering department of JNTU inspected the Assembly building in Interim Secretariat at Velagapudi here on Friday. It should be recalled that the Assembly staff and police identified conspiracy behind the incident.

According to sources, the CID officials identified one person who shot and leaked video of water leakage incident to social media. The Assembly staff informed to CID officials as they saw three persons on roof of building on that day. The officials have started inquiry by taking information from Assembly staff and YSR Congress legislative party office.

An official on condition of anonymity said that the CID would submit report in next couple of days. “We are probing the involvement of person who posted the video of water leakage and his involvement. The CID has been handed over video footage of CC TV cameras by Assembly staff,” he added.

Later, municipal minister P Narayana said people and media have been allowed to visit Secretariat from Friday. “AC pipe was cut by unidentified persons that led to water leakage,” he stated. He took strong objection on false campaign over the quality of Assembly building.
