Exert pressure on leaders for welfare schemes: Sujana
Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Y Sujana Chowdary gave a call to people to exert pressure on the people’s representatives for getting benefits of various welfare schemes. He participated in the Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas programme held at Kavali on Monday.

Addressing the gathering, the Union Minister said the BJP-led NDA government has been carrying out many prestigious programmes for the people. Sujana Chowdary said that the state government has been getting more funds through special package even though Special Category Status was not granted.
He lauded Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu as he was instrumental in getting huge funds for Polavaram project which would be a boon for farming community of the truncated state. Agriculture Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy and other leaders and officials also participated in the programme.
