Tenali: Union minister for railways Suresh Prabhu asserted that Central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and state government led by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would make dreams of common man a reality.

Addressing a meeting held in Tenali on Thursday, he said that voters were clever as they have thrown away Congress which unscientifically divided the state. He listed schemes like Jan Dhan Yojana and others introduced by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government for the welfare of people and added that the Central government was extending all necessary cooperation for the development of state.

“People of Andhra Pradesh are intelligent, they are the bulk of doctors and software professionals in USA,” he remarked. Taking about farmers issues, Prabhu said that Centre was doing its best to solve problems of the farmers.

“We are modernising 40,000 bogies, railway stations and introducing ticket issuing machines besides setting up escalators, lifts and WIFI facility for the convenience of passengers. If new railway lines are laid, it will generate millions of jobs,” he stated.

Minister for health Kamineni Srinivas said that the Union minister was allocating more funds to the state for laying new railway lines, than other states. He said the welfare schemes were useful for the development of petty trader also. He added that AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi has no right to visit the state because he did injustice to A.P. Minister for Social Welfare Nakka Anand Babu, MPs Galla Jayadev, Gokaraju Ganga Raju, MLA Alapati Rajendra Prasad and others were present.
